Zeitgeist is a homemade documentary that took off in 2008 to become one of the most widely viewed videos in internet history. A sequel was released in Oct'08. Since then, the movies have spawned a movement that promotes alternative economic and environmental solutions to the chaos our present form of corporate sponsored capitalism has created.
The first Zeitgeist movie is divided into 3 sections—the first explains why Christianity may be a fabrication, the second compiles evidence of 9/11 conspiracy theories from a number of popular 9/11 movies and the last ties it all together—explaining how politicians, bankers and corporations have been manipulating the world for years.
The sequel goes into more detail about the history of banking and how it has led us into the current economic catastrophe. It also features extensive interviews with John Perkins, author of The Confession of an Economic Hitman. Perkins explains how corporations and governments work together to destabalize, manipulate and sometimes overthrow sovereign countries who don't cooperate with their plans for global conquest. It also features The Venus Project—a futuristic, sustainable living project that offers an alternative to the current system of economic chaos and environmental degradation.
There is additional video material at the Zeitgiest website (below), as well as info on events and activism related to movement. Both movies can be seen there or on Google video at the linx below...
