David Lynch

Legendary filmmaker, David Lynch, now 63, has been busy. He released his magnum opus, Inland Empire, late in 2006--a 3 hour mystery shot entirely on DV cam with stunning cinematography and a brilliant performance by Laura Dern. Its non-linear plot may not make it his most popular movie, but it is certainly one of his best. Catch it on DVD, a local independent theater or on-line at the link below...

The David Lynch Foundation for world peace through meditation has also been busy, launching a new web site (link below) and promoting Lynch's other passion, transcendental meditation. They are sponsoring a massive concert with Paul McCartney, Ben Harper & Eddie Vedder to raise awareness about the issue, and to raise money to teach young people all over the world the art of meditation.
