Chi Funk was one of the founding fathers of the underground electronic music scene in Taiwan.Since establishing REvEvolution as one of the top underground party crews in 1999, he has toured throughout Asia , including appearances in Goa, Korea and Thailand. In 2004, he toured Spain, including gigs in Barcelona and Ibiza with vocalist Rebeka Brown (RBK) and DJ duo, Sex In Fusion. He also co-organized the Atzavara Muzik Festival with Barcelona artists and VJs, Impakt Visuals, whose work has been featured at Sonar Advanced Music Festival. In 2006 he founded Urban Funk All Stars which has toured all over Asia with freestyle funk, hip hop and breaks scratchers like DJ Drez and MC Zaire Black from L.A. They have appeared at Summer Aquarian, Lamp, Lobby, Fabric & CU—and also at gigs in China, Thailand & Japan. Chi Funk also pioneered an innovative series of live performances called Live & Wired, where DJs perform with vocalists, percussionists and live jazz musicians, including Money Shot Horns saxophonist, Patrick Byrne

He is now one of the top House DJs in Asia, playing many top clubs and parties over the past few years including: Urban Funk, Light Lounge, Bobo, Eden, Ageha, Penthouse, Liquid Lounge, Grooveyard, Underpark, Swank, Samadhi, Passion & Soundgarden. He was the first foreign music director at a Taiwanese club in 2005 at Bobo. But he is still best known for his own Chi Funk/Revevolution Parties at independent locations like: Da Shan, Golden Sand Beach & Golden Plaza Rooftop Garden—and also for starting the Spring Scream party craze with the 1st rave in Ken Ding in 1999, and some massive follow ups at Bai Sha Wan in 2000 & 2001.

Best known for his prime time house sets, he plays a wide variety of music, including Funky House, Breaks, Electro, Tribal, Progressive, Ragga & Old Skool. His mix has matured into an aggressive blend of scratches, samples, cross fades & climactic effects that add an extra dimension to all his sets. And he has recently been heard playing Freestyle Scratch Sets at Urban Funk Parties that range the full gambit of funk, from hip hop to house, reggae to d n b. Chi Funk is an old skool, underground DJ who could really give a fuck what genre a track has been labeled under, or what the present music establishment has deemed viable for the dance floors of the world this party season. He only asks one question of his music: Does it rock!
