Watch this legendary Advaita (non-dualist) Guru speak in this vintage video. He was visited in Mumbai by thousands of westerners seeking answers. Many of his talks have since been translated and published, including the 70s classic, I Am That.

His method has often been referred to as The Natural Yoga, because it consists of little more than living a happy life and meditating on the source of consciousness whenever possible. Ramana Maharshi is widely recognized as one of the greatest gurus of modern times. He taught by example at his ashram in the sacred city of Tiruvannamalai in Tamil Nadu, but left little writing as a legacy. Naan Yaar is one of the few written records of his experience. It is one of the most concise expositions on enlightenment since the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali in the 1st century AD. Follow the link or click above to read in full screen.
