We'v had some of our best and biggest parties here over the last few years. This should be the best one ever. All the businesses on the top 3 floors have moved out, including the infamous snow park. Now it is just big, open, empty space, waiting to be filled...

The massive open air garden space on the 19th floor is filled with palm trees and flowers. This is the main point of departure for all areas of the party. Buy a ticket at the door here (dont go to the wrong floor like others in the past). Just thru the door on your rite is the Smart Art Chill Space & Wine Bar--in a nice gallery space w/ hardwood floors and stunning views of the city. Main Bar's on the left and the open air square in the middle will serve as chill space, dance floor & a good place for angels and devils to meet on their way to different areas. The Inferno wicked breakz Room is in the restaurant space on one side of the 19th floor. Thru the doors lies the most beautiful view of the city, and funky wickedness all nite long. A secret stairway in back of the inferno leads up to the purgatory floor. There are also 2 main stairways in the corners of the 19th floor garden that lead to the 20th floor deck. This is where the purgatory stage will be playing funky, progressive house, techno & trance all evening. There used to be an arcade full of video games in this area--they are all gone, leaving room for another dance floor on the 20th floor deck. Heaven is in the revolving restaurant. You have to take a private glass elevator (lined with xmas lits, and overlooking downtown TC for effect) from the 19th floor. Get off on the 21st and you'l find yourself in Paradise--a warm, cozy lounge space w/ room for less than 100, and a view that revolves around the entire city. We'll supply the sweetest chill out sounds around...

All our events here have been wildly successful and completely safe. A few other groups have had a little trouble here. But that is in the distant past and never had any connection to Chi Funk. We work closely with management of the building, who have excellent connections downtown, and with the local authorities, who are very cooperative and usualy tell us how loud we can play and what we need to do to keep our event safe for everyone. Check back for updates if you have any concerns. We will post all relevant info concerning safety, weather, etc...

The Heaven chill out room is in the space needle revolving restaurant. The 21st floor is a complete lounge, seperate from the 22nd floor restaurant and dining area--a hidden gem in this amazing urban venue. Take the psychadlik elevator from the 19th floor--the glass elevator shaft is lined w/ xmas lites and provides a view of the entire city. Gourmet dinner & snacks served til midnite. Bar closes at 1am. So come early if you want to have a drink and catch the most amazing view in town. This room is for angels only...

An amazing line up featuring Chi Funk's favorite performers from over the years, including a heavy dose of funk, when Taipei's 2 top funkstars, Saucey & K Fancy, take the stage together for the first time ever in Tai Chung...

Their tag team dj set will highlite a nite of musical inter~action. After each dj's main set, a 2nd dj will come on for some tag team action. Caddywampus & Lux live will match scratches & rhymes, later Tom & RainboWarrior will trade classic house & techno trax...

The nite starts w/ Hip Hop & Funk. Lux Live returns for a final performance complete w/ MCs, DJ, Dij, a cow bell? & whatever else we can find that works...After Saucey & K Fancy, our favorite Taiwanese dj returns for a very special last set (he's off to join the air force later this year). And then a final 4 hour set from RainboWarrior--a progressive set that rises from funky house & techno into tribal progressive house & trance, b4 reaching into the psychadlia around dawn--he's even been dropping in some drum n bass at the end of his sets lately. Chi Funk's main stage is now a work of art that delivers a progressive line~up of diverse sounds--all linked by one thing: The Funk. The stage features 12 hours of continuous muzic, starting w/ chilled sounds of hip hop & funk early in the evening, progressing to warm, happy funky house beatz around mid nite. Around 3 we take it up a notch, into the progressive, tribal house & funky techno & then when the sun dawns we reach climax w/ progressive techno~trance & tribal psy trance. After climax, we then bring it back down & play some of the sweetest old roots & reggae chill while everyone lies around in the morning sun...

All this studded w/ live performance & surprizes that can include anything from fire dancing & dijeridoos to salsa & capoiera performances. We'v worked long and hard to get this sort of line-up together. You dont see such diversity many other places. A tribute to the talent in this community and the undieing interest of the organizers in all forms of art, funk & fun. The party's mature w/ the people and here in Taiwan, you'v gotten a sneek peek at the future--parties w/ lots of art, performance & chill space, designed to stimulate just as much as they are to relax. Altho the old practice of getting as far of ones head as possible may still exist for many, these alternatives are now there as well, so all kinds of people will have the chance to take advantage of this rare experience in art.muzic. nature & luv...

Followed by K Fancy, organizer of the Evil Breaks Party @ 2F, w/ Danny McMillan (uk). Saucey will join him later for some tag team breaks action. Hell is in the restaurant area on the 19th floor. Fortunately the restaurant has moved out--so this space is open, empty & all ours. It will be open all nite and well into the morning, serving as our sunrize chill space. People luv to gather here to wath the sun rize over the mountains in the morning. The view of downtown Tai Chung is equally amazing at nite--one of the most amazing urban views that Tai CHung has to offer. We'll have a seperate sound systm in this room w/ 3 turntables, pioneer 600 effects mixer & sampler, compliments of K Fancy, who's got some serious turntable trickery planed for all you devils out there...

Smart Art: Art.Chill Space & Silent Auction

The art space is in a very nice gallery area, desigend as a gift shop, on the 19th floor. Seperate from the main party area--this space will be quieter & very chill. The party is the perfect place to enjoy vizual stimulation. The seperate space will allow us to do so in peace. This is a very cool side of the parties that can be easily enjoyed by open and mature minds--so leave all the stereotypes of what a party is, or was, at home and come enjoy a piece of the future...

We'll be playing Jazz & Funk all nite in this chill space, maybe even a little classical early for the art crowd. And the bar here will serve wine, a touch of class, for our last event in town...

Charity Art Auction: 9pm-2am
This will be really fun if we get some folx who appreciate art out early to check it out, sip some wine & listen to some jazz & funk while people bid on the paintings. We presently have 8 pieces by a renowned Thai artist, most painted in a very traditional buddhist style--vibrant colours, vizualy striking--they'l be on disaply all nite. And they will be sold via silent auction thruout the nite as well. All the works are quite cheap. Half the proceeds go directly to the artist, the other half is being donated to a Phillipino woman dieing of breast cancer. Her contact info is available from the dealer setting up the event and can be obtained at the auction...

InterAktive Art Projekt>>> Come out early, get 100nt off and help us paint some massive murals. Bring a brush or bottle of paint and get a free drink. We'll stretch big sheets of cloth and canvas near the art space and provide lots of paint and brushes. Each mural will have a different theme, which anyone can ad to all nite. When they are finished, we will then hang them for everyone to see. Some themes suggested so far: Peace, Taiwan Oddities, Taiwan Parties. Get in touch if you have ideas and want to get involved. Show up early and get ready to paint otherwise...

This is the biggest party we've ever planned--3 seperate floors operating simultaneously +2 full JBL sound systms on the 2 main stages. I'v never seen a party of this size for less than 600nt--and usually more like 700 or 800 in Taipei or Gao Shung. We're keeping the price at 500nt cuz its our last party and we dont want anyone to miss becuz they just got back from vacation and dont have much cash. Its only 400nt if you come b4 midnite to check out the art and live performances--and you can get 100nt off if you come early and participate in any of the art projekts +plus a free drink if you dress up and finaly a free drink for anyone who finds a magik ball at the party and takes it to the bar. So spread the word--this one is cheap, more than worth it & lots of chances for discounts and free drinks if you get involved...

Now over 50 events in Taiwan and still 0 arrests, 0 fites, 0 serious injuries...A tribute to the openess and diversity of the community here.
